IDEA Plugin: Multicast Chat v1.4

This is a plugin that provides a simple, LAN based multi-user chat. This plugin requires multicast support on your network, and is really only good as a LAN chat. No server is required. The chat window appears as a toolbar in the main interface, and can be configured through the IDE Options configuration screen. Download the plugin.

Splotch

Splotch is an Eliza style conversational chatter bot originally written for IRC. It is written in somewhat poor C (I was learning at the time), and has not been kept up to date since its original writing in 1992. Still, it’s somewhat interesting if your interested in artificial intelligence and computer/human interaction. It is quite a bit more complex then Eliza, using a collection of templates and phrase exraction techniques for a more realistic conversation.

VXML Mode For Visual SlickEdit

This is a VXML syntax file for the popular Visual SlickEdit text editor. It provides syntax coloration for VXML (Voice XML) version 1.0. Simply download the VLX file and add the contents of this file to your user.vlx file in your SlickEdit directory.
